Anakuzhi Asan Health care is a two centuries old centre carrying the legacy of traditional SIDDHA MEDICINE, the ancient holistic health care system of Asian continent. The SIDDHA SCIENCE is a traditional treatment system originated from the roots Tamil culture; this system aimed at keeping the three humors (vaatham, Pitam and kapam ) in equilibrium. According to the siddha system Diet and Lifestyle play a major role in health and in curing Dieases. This concept of the medicine is termed as pathiyam, which is essentially a list of “Do’s” and “Dont’s”. We offer classical siddha care with our very old traditional formulations of herbal medicines and authentic external therapies to our patients.
- Beginning of 18th century remotes the establishment of the centre at Anakuzhi in Kanyakumari of Tamilnadu by our Progenitor NEELAKANDA VAIDIYAR. As the first centre was called “Kan purai”, treating the ailments of Eye. Following his foot steps KARUTHUDAYAN VAIDIYAR [son], NEETHINATHAN VAIDIYAR [Grandson], JOSEPH VAIDIYAR [Great Grandson], continue service during later course.
- By the Mid of 19th century Inpatient care, Varma chiktsa Treatment for Bone and Joint Injuries were Induced by J. VEDANAYAGAM VAIDIYAR at Fifth generation of Traditional Services.
SIDDHA VARMA ASAN & PROPREITOR
Dr.GUNASINGH VETHANAVAGAM (Sixth Generation) is the sole proprietor of our centre. He is the youngest son of Late J.Vethanayagam Vaidyar. Dr.Gunasingh from his childhood gained knowledge of traditional siddha medicine from his father and started practising when he was thirteen years old.
- During his younger years he got trained in various martial arts and Varma therapy from different guru’s and achieved excellence. In due course he become an Asan teaching martial arts in his home town.
- He got graduated in BSM From Travancore Siddha Vaidya Sangam, Munchirai in 1993. He Engaged himself in various Socio-Spiritual activities and continues to be the main part of them till now. He is leading our centre successfully till now.
- At Present, we are in the era of seventh generation of Traditional Care Service with Dr. G. Prasanth Singh. Here, Integrated System of Medical Care Services indulged at our Centre including Ayurvedic System of aesthetic programmes and Wellness Treatments.
- Year 2025 is a Biggest Milestone Newly Inaugurated Allopathic Emergency Care Centre with Medical surgical and Physiotherapy Department has become the Jewel in the crown.
